Thomas R. Crotty died on July 7, 2024 at New York Presbyterian Hospital/ Columbia University Medical Center. Thomas was born in Bronx Lebanon Hospital on January 1,1964 to Virginia Crotty (nee: Sulzbach) and Thomas J. Crotty. In 1973 the family relocated to Stony Point and Thomas attended Immaculate Conception School and graduated from North Rockland High School. He went on to join the Air Force and attended Ball State University and was honorably discharged in 1985. Thomas was a member of Local One International Union of Elevator Constructors of New York for 30 years. He married Celine Crotty (nee: Silveira) in 1992 and resided in Queens, New York until his death. He is predeceased by his father Thomas J Crotty. He is survived by his wife Celine Crotty, his mother Virginia A. Crotty and siblings Theresa (Virgil) Nitescu, Donna (Scott) Guiboa, Virginia (Brian) Cox, and Sean Crotty. Thomas is survived many nieces and nephews. Thomas loved watching sports, loved going to the beach and he traveled extensively with his wife.
A Funeral Mass will be held on July 15, 2024 at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church followed by Interment at St. Anthony Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to a charity of your choosing in memory of Thomas.

I will miss sharing this planet with Tom. We were in the Air Force together, and the two of us shared personal ties. I remember him as someone who stuck out hard military service, and was a solid friend to his squadronmates. I think I can say that we are all sad.
