He is also survived by three children, Tim Crowhurst, Fred (Dawn) Crowhurst, and Elizabeth Crowhurst; two grandchildren, J.T. (Allison) Crowhurst and Austin (Kenzie) Crowhurst; three great-grandchildren, Henry Crowhurst, Ryker Crowhurst, and Callie Mae Crowhurst; and one sister, Gail (Tom) Star.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Thomas worked and retired after 40 years as an engineer tech at the Metropolitan Water Reclamation Department of Chicago. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and researching family history.
Celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation rites will be accorded through Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL. To leave an online condolence you may go to www.sedgwickfuneralhomes.com
