Thomas D'Andrea, 84, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024, in the Friendly Home, Woonsocket, peacefully in his sleep. He was the husband of the late Dorothy (Shabo) D'Andrea.
Born in Providence, RI, he was the son of Thomas and Mary (Pasquel) D'Andrea. He resided in Pawtucket for the past 64 years.
He enjoyed traveling, gardening, the beach and reading, but most of all spending time with his family.
Tom's career began as a delivery driver, also owner operated a restaurant and a flower business, as well working as a machine operator
He is survived by his two sons: Thomas A. D'Andrea and his wife Kim of Cumberland, David A. D'Andrea and his wife Sandra of Pawtucket. His grandchildren; Bethanie, Brittany, Melissa, Lauren, and Rebecca, four great-grandchildren; Aurora, Kingsley, Eleanore, and Michael and another great granddaughter on the way. He also leaves one sister Dolores Letourneau of Cumberland and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late, Marie (Jenny), Anna, Joseph, Frank, Joanne, and Sandra.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Tom's Life Celebration to begin with Visiting Hours on Thursday, February 15, 2024, from 4 PM to 7 PM and continuing Friday, February 16, 2024, with a Prayer Service at 11 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Audubon Society of Rhode Island, 12 Sanderson Road, Smithfield, RI 02917.
