Thomas D. Imfeld, 73, of Trenton, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at home. He was born in Middletown on April 9, 1950 to parents, Robert C. and Vivian (Sponsel) Imfeld, both of who preceded him in death.
Tom has worked as a printer for the Middletown Journal for over 30 years. He had a passion for cars, especially Mustangs. He enjoyed building them, working on them and drag racing at Edgewater Sports Park. He was also a sports enthusiast, who enjoyed coaching youth basketball at the YMCA, and coaching and playing softball at Armco Park.
Most of all Tom loved his family and will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Barbara (Goodpaster) Imfeld; son, Ryan Imfeld; daughter, Lorrie Mains; brothers, Bobby Imfeld & Mark Imfeld; sister, Joan Rampulla; his beloved grandchildren, Michael Allen, Brianna Allen, Easton Imfeld & Ensley Imfeld; and great-grandbaby, Addison Allen.
Funeral Service will be Friday, July 28, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown with Dr. Dan Flory officiating. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery and Arboretum.
Memorial contributions may be made to P.A.W.S., 6302 Crossings Blvd, Monroe, OH 45050.
