Thomas Lowell Dalbey

Thomas L. Dalbey, 58, of Cameron, Tx. Died at home, February 17, 2025. Per his wishes, cremation rites were accorded. Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home is assisting the family. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Illinois.
Tom was born February 21, 1966, in Danville, Il. To Curt and Helen Dalbey. He leaves behind his two sons, Kash of College Station, Tx. And Kolt of Fayetteville, Tn. His two sisters, Susan (Darryl Wright) Williams, of Steger, Ill, and Judie (Jay) Puzey, of Fairmount, Ill. His Mother Helen, and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Two days after his high school graduation, Tom set off to travel the United States becoming a well-known cowboy. He knew his Angus cattle like no other. His nickname was "Nationwide". He was the youngest person to ever win "Herdsman of the Year". Tom didn't know a stranger. He had friends in every state.
Those who went before him are his father, Curt, his brother, Steve, and his name-sake nephew, Tommy Williams.
