Thomas "Tony" A. DeBoeuf, age 65, of Green City, formerly of Linn, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at St. Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City.
Tony was born on September 9, 1958, in Knox County, Indiana, a son to the late Thomas Felix and Elizabeth Darlene (McBride) DeBoeuf.
Tony was a 1976 graduate of Owensville High School. He later earned a master’s degree in Diesel Mechanics.
On August 11, 2000, he was united in marriage to Lois Fowler in Clark County, Las Vegas Nevada. Lois survives at their home.
Tony was employed as a diesel mechanic instructor for 28 years at State Technical College in Linn until his retirement in 2016.
Tony enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was always working in his shop, especially helping his friends with their projects.
In addition to his wife of twenty-three years, Tony is survived by a daughter, Amy Lynn DeBoeuf of Clearwater, Florida; and one brother, Patrick DeBoeuf.
In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by one son, Joseph Thomas DeBoeuf, and three brothers.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Morton Chapel in Linn with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Don Claycomb and Deacon Robert Schowengerdt officiating.
In Lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Wishes of the Family or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
