Obituary published on Legacy.com by Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc. on Apr. 14, 2024.
Thomas John DelLongo Sr., 80, of New Milford, PA entered into rest peacefully at home with his devoted wife of 62 years, Mary, by his side on April 13, 2024.
He is also survived by his children, Thomas Jr. (Jeanine) DelLongo, Linda (Douglas) Warner, and Dawn Debloom; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothea Anderson and Pat Stephens; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a grandson, Christopher; and a sister, Sandra Drew.
Thomas moved to northeast Pennsylvania and worked in concrete for Wormuth Ready Mix. Then he began the DelLongo Fence Company. He ended his career working for PennDOT. Thomas was an avid outdoorsman, boating, fishing, camping, golfing, and SCUBA diving. He was a skilled craftsman and could fix or build anything. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to Compassionate Care Hospice, especially Bobbie, for their care and guidance, allowing us to care for him in the comfort of our home.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 27, 2024 at the First Baptist Church, Main Street, New Milford, PA. Friends may call from 9-11 a.m. at the church, prior to the service. Inurnment will be made in New Milford Cemetery at a later date.

Uncle Tommy was a wonderful Uncle. Such wonderful memories of him all through my life. He actually saved my life once - long story, but I will never forget it. He truly loved family and would do anything he could to help others and was such a hard worker. Our family lost an amazing, caring man. Prayers are with Aunt Mary, Tommy Jr, Linda, and all of his family.
