Thomas "Tom" Dale DeMotte, age 69 of Kingman, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Danville, Illinois on September 18, 1955, to the late Fred & Grace Irene (Anglemyer) DeMotte.
Tom graduated from Covington High School and was a union boilermaker for Local 374 in Terre Haute for many years. He loved the outdoors; hunting, fishing at the river, and of course drinking beer.
He is survived by a son, Doug DeMotte; a brother, Chuck DeMotte; two sisters, Brenda Bracken and Marilyn (Walter) Nixon; his best friend, Gene Miller, who took care of him till the end; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Billy Gene DeMotte and Freddie Junior DeMotte; and three sisters, Rosemary Varner, Virginia Bowling and Beulah Watson.
There will be a graveside service at Hicks Cemetery, 1080 State Road 32, in Perrysville at 11:00am on Wednesday, August 6, 2025. Sanders Funeral Care entrusted with care. Share memories and condolences online at www.SandersFuneralCare.com.
