Thomas Dodson Obituary
He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1979-1983, before beginning a long career with UPS for over 26 years, where his dedication and strong work ethic made a lasting impression. A passionate sports fan, Timmy was a devoted supporter of the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Mets, always cheering on his teams with enthusiasm.
Timmy is survived by his loving mother, Gladys Willis of New Haven, CT; his son, Thomas "Carl" Dodson Jr. of Bridgeport, CT; his brother, Ellery Keith Dodson (Tonette) of Youngstown, OH; and his sister, Cythronia Brown of New Haven, CT; his nieces Shoy Brown of New Haven, CT; Tanille Brown of New Haven, CT; Victoria Dodson of Youngstown, OH; and his nephew Marcus Dodson of Youngstown, OH; and his great nephew Tykwon Payne of New Haven, CT, along with several other nieces and nephews.
Known for his warm spirit, sense of humor, and love for his family, Timmy will be deeply missed but forever remembered. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas George "T.J." Dodson; and his nephew, John Ricky Brown Jr.

Timmy you helped me be the best UPS has ever seen and will ever see! You were a great sorter and a better friend to a young angry man with chips the size of BPT on his shoulder. Got the privilege to meet your son 15 years later in the same spot I met you in the sort isle.
You were the man Tim. Rest up brother you be missed!!

It is with deep sadness that I offer my heartfelt condolences to the Dodson family - Timmy was a super nice person and he will be greatly missed. Growing up with Timmy and hanging out at the school yard was some of best times ever. Thank you for the memories Timmy - RIP
