Thomas Dukeshire Obituary
Thomas was a mechanic by profession, as well as a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He was known for his patriotism, and for the love of his family. Mr. Dukeshire was a collector of guns, knives, and hats. He enjoyed watching miliary and ghost shows, reading, and celebrating his favorite holidays by decorating the house, the 4th of July and Christmas. But above everything else, we loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Mr. Dukeshire is preceded in death by his parents, Hurbert Leroy Dukeshire and Mary (Carlton) Dukeshire; his first wife, Debra Kay Dukeshire; daughter, Felicia Huff; brothers, Hurbert "Mickey" Dukeshire JR, and William "Billy" Dukeshire. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Dukeshire; sons, John Dukeshire and wife Jesse of Mesquite, TX, Donny Drake and wife Anna of Smithville, OK, Robert Drake and wife Jennifer of Mt. Ida, AR, James Drake and wife Arielle of Haskell, AR; daughters, Jennifer Minshull and husband Kevin of Alma, AR, Alicia Lewis and partner Loyd of Mena, AR, LeAnn Willis of Ft. Smith, AR, Amber Golkhajen and husband Ben of Hatfield, AR, Kimberly Huff of Mena, AR; son-in-law, Jason Hadley of Mena, Arkansas; 27 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren on the way; brother, Arthur "Skippy" Dukeshire; sister, Francias "Frannie" Giambroni; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends too numerous to mention.
Funeral services for Mr. Dukeshire will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 15, 2023, at the Beasley-Wood Chapel in Mena, Arkansas. Brother Mark Lyle will be officiating under the direction of Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. There will be a scheduled visitation Friday, July 14, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Cremation services are entrusted to Beasley-Wood Funeral Home.
