Thomas L. Duncan, 58, of Akron, Ohio, passed away on September 6, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
A proud U.S. Navy veteran, Thom dedicated his life to caring for others. He spent his career as a compassionate and skilled nurse. He served the last 17 years at Select Specialty Hospital, where he was a valued and much-loved colleague.
Thom was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Duncan and Judith "Gayle" Callesen; as well as his sister, Leslie Duncan Bradley.
He is survived by his daughter, Gabrielle Duncan; his sister, Lena Duncan (Douglas Smoot); his brother, Theodore Duncan; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
A casual celebration of life will be held at 2719 Fulton Dr. NW, Canton, on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at 2:00pm, to honor and remember Thom.
