Thomas Edward Eddings

Thomas Edward Eddings, known as Tommy to his friends and family, passed away on February 13, 2026, in Lost City, Oklahoma. He was born on November 8, 1945, in Coalgate, Oklahoma, to Elmo and Evelyn Eddings. Tommy was a man whose life was defined by dedication, service, and a deep love for his family.

Tommy graduated from Tahlequah High School in 1964. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War as an artillery crew member. Upon returning home, he began his career with Lake Region Electric Cooperative, where he dedicated over thirty years of service, retiring as the Supervisor of Engineering Services. On February 16, 1968, he married Alene (Ferrell) Eddings. Tommy was a cattle rancher, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, LaDonna Caviness. He is survived by his wife Alene; his children, Anna Marie Eddings, and Gregg Eddings and his wife Kim; his sisters Charline Long and husband J.C., Sue Shankle and husband Audie, and Bonnie Kile; and his grandchildren Wyatt and Jessie Eddings, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Tommy's legacy is one of love, hard work, and generosity. His impact on the lives of those he touched will be felt for generations to come. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of his beloved family and the many friends who were privileged to know him.
