Thomas Robert Edwards, age 71, of Meadville, PA passed away at home on Saturday January 10, 2025. He was born on December 8, 1954 in Jacksonville, NC to the late Robert J. Jr. and Alice (Campbell) Edwards. He married Dinaque Bewley on July 21, 1984. She survives.
Tom attended Alliance College and then went on to finish his schooling at Edinboro University where he earned a degree. He worked for Town and County TV Repair then at a factory briefly. He then worked for Lake City Manufacturing until his retirement.
Tom was a member of Christ Evangelical Free Church of Saegertown, PA. He was a member of S.T.O.R.M. and Men of Grace. From 1984-1990, Tom was the captain for CAP, the Meadville branch. He enjoyed traveling and camping and loved to watch NHRA drag racing.
In addition to his wife of 41 years, Dinaque, he is survived by his children, Alice Edwards and Robert Edwards both of Meadville, PA; his siblings, Cheryl Bowersox and her husband, David of Meadville, PA, Judy Edwards of Cambridge Springs, PA, Randy Edwards and his wife, Mary of Chapin,SC, Robin Edwards of Sharon, PA and Ronald Edwards of Erie, PA; numerous nieces and nephews and an aunt, Betty Campbell of Erie, PA and an uncle, Richard Edwards of Poland, OH.
He was preceded in death by his parents and several aunts and uncles.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday January 31, 2026 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Christ E. Free Church, 19682 Hill Rd., Saegertown, PA 16433. Friends staying for the luncheon are asked to bring a covered dish to share.
