Shirley Rose Bicko, age 88, of Linesville, PA passed away Sunday afternoon, February 8th, 2026, at Marquette Hospice House in Meadville, PA. She was born November 19th, 1937, in Willoughby, OH, a daughter of the late Red and Ruth Heidelberg.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, John Bicko.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Linesville, a church secretary and a homemaker. In the last months of her life she was received into the Orthodox Church. She enjoyed reading, travel, watching Cleveland Guardians baseball and spending time with her family.
Shirley is survived by two sons; Chuck Bicko of Linesville and Dave Bicko and his wife Sue of Meadville, two grandsons Ian Bicko of New Orleans, LA; and Isaac Bicko and his wife Autumn of Cambridge Springs, PA, two great grandchildren; Sergius and Nina Bicko also of Cambridge Springs. She leaves behind two dear cousins Marjorie English and Judy Detour, family members and many friends who will sadly miss her.
An Orthodox Christian Funeral Service led by Fr. Seraphim Wing will be held at 9:45 a.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville. Calling hours will then be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed directly by a funeral service, with Pastor Terry Smith officiating.
Burial services will be held privately at Saints Peter & Paul Orthodox Cemetery in Crossingville on a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Marquette Hospice House, 13465 N. Wayland Rd., Meadville, Pa 16335.
