Lois Eleanor Denison, 97, of Linesville, died in the Lord on February 27, 2026, at Life Care of Elyria, Ohio.
Born to Lynn and Otta (Daubenmire) Brooks on January 30th, 1929, she was a lifetime resident of Conneaut Township. She married Brice Denison on January 12th, 1947 in Richmond, Ohio. Together they worked the dairy farm that they owned and operated.
Her hobbies were raising and arranging flowers, gardening, crocheting, and sewing. She was an active member of both Penn Line Grange and Penn Line Church of Christ from 1950 onward. She served on the Crawford County Planning Commission.
For 14 years, she was a realtor at Caldwell Banker Real Estate Bainbridge Kaufman. From that position, she was recognized as a top 2 percent of Coldwell Banker National Sales Force from 1979 to 1982 for volume of sales.
She is survived by her children Diane Lehr of Vermilion, Ohio and Mark Denison and Bryce Denison of Linesville, Pennsylvania, seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Brice Denison, her sisters Ida Mae Kearney, Gertrude Downing, and Delores Teachout, and her brothers, Graydon and Gordon Brooks, her son, Dale Denison and his wife Linda Denison, and her daughter-in-law, Corazon Denison.
Calling hours will be from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at the Penn Line Church of Christ, 6968 U.S. Route 6, Pierpont, Ohio, 44082. The funeral service will follow on Thursday at 1 p.m. at the church with Minister Brad White officiating.
Burial will be private at Penn Line Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Penn Line Church of Christ.
