Thomas Ray Ellis, age 65, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025 at his home in Ashton. He was born on December 20, 1959 in Rochelle, the son of Charles and Catherine (Thomas) Ellis. Tom married Penny Ann Williams on May 16, 1980 in Rochelle. He worked as a fork lift operator for Siligan in Rochelle. Member of the Local 701 IAM.
Tom loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed fantasy football, card collecting and especially enjoyed watching is grandkids play sports.
Preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers: Charles Ellis, and Larry Ellis.
Survived by his wife, Penny, 4 sons: Steven Ellis of Ashton, Mark Ellis of Monroe Center, Charles (Cassia) Ellis of Ashton, and Thomas Ellis, Jr. of Ashton; 5 grandchildren: Jayla Ellis, Tessa Ellis, Paisley Ellis, Ethan Thomas Ellis, and Blair Ellis; half sister, Kimberly Parker of South Carolina; his beloved dog, Buddy; and his president, Donald J. Trump.
