Thomas Essel Obituary
Beloved husband of the late Eugenia M. Essel, with whom he shared 55 wonderful years with.
Cherished father of Laura (Darin Millington) Essel and Matt (Hope) Essel.
Proud grandfather of Andrew Essel.
Tom was preceded in death by four of his siblings and is survived by three. He also is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Tom honorably served in the Navy during the Vietnam war. He had a passion for fishing and a deep love for music. Alongside his wife Eugenia, he was a member of the band "Magic Moments", Tom on guitar and Eugenia on piano. Tom's love for his family was the foundation of his life. After Eugenia's passing in 2017, he deeply felt her absence, but the love of his children and grandson gave him strength and purpose.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Schepner-McDermott Funeral Home, Inc., 165 Noble Avenue, Crafton where a Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 PM, followed by presentation of Military Honors.
