Thomas Ferrando Obituary

Thomas Ferrando
July 1, 1931 - February 28, 2021
Thomas P. Ferrando passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2021. He was 89. He was a wonderful, generous and honorable man who will be missed. Tom and his twin brother Larry, were born on July 1, 1931 to Peter and Annie Ferrando in Sonoma Valley. They were the younger brothers by nine years of Ed Ferrando.
Tom graduated from Sonoma Valley High. He enlisted in the Army Airforce and became a veteran of the Korean war. In the early '60s he and Ed became partners in a plumbing and heating business called Ferrando's Plumbing & Heating. And in November of 1971 the brothers also opened a Christmas tree farm called Moon Mountain Christmas Tree Farm.
Tom met and married Mildred Davis in 1981. They supported many causes in Sonoma Valley and loved going on cruises. They lived a full life together. Millie was the love of his life and when Millie passed away in May of 2017, he never really got over her passing. He is with Millie now and at peace.
