Thomas "Jerry" Fisher Jr.

Thomas "Jerry" Fisher, 82, of Ocean Township, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025.
He was born in Neptune and lived in Belmar before moving to Ocean 63 years ago.
He was a drywall finisher for Local Union DC 711 in Neptune for over 30 years before retiring in 2009.
He liked playing golf, trap shooting, fishing and was a duck carver. He was a communicant of the former Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church and a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church (Mother of Mercy Parish) both in Asbury Park.
He is predeceased by his son, Robert; his parents, Helen and Thomas Fisher; and his sisters, Patricia Hood and Maryann Newman.
Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Sharon; sons, Gerald Fisher and his wife Gina and Brian Fisher and his wife Doris; 4 grandchildren, Jamie and her husband, Cory, Kathleen, Brian and Madison and a great-grandson, Lucas.
Visitation will be from 4-7 pm Thursday at the Fiore-Buckley Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township. Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:30 am Friday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Asbury Park. Entombment will follow at Woodbine Cemetery in Oceanport.
