Thomas W. Fisk

The Celebration of Life for Thomas Fisk, 84, of Aberdeen, South Dakota, will be at 2:00pm, March 27, 2026, at the Claremore Church of the Nazarene in Oklahoma. Thomas Wayne Fisk, 'Tom,' exchanged this world for a far better one on Thursday, March 5, 2026.

Tom was born in San Bernardino, CA, to Wayne and Dorothy Fisk on February 16, 1942. The middle of three children, he spent countless hours playing sports, especially baseball and water skiing, and enjoyed camping with his family.

Tom surrendered to Jesus Christ in 1972, which changed the whole trajectory of his life. He met Judie Overholt at a Bible study and asked her to marry him a year later. They spent nearly 46 happy years together until she journeyed ahead of him to Heaven. Tom followed the Lord faithfully all his life, leading and attending many Bible studies, including at Aberdeen First Assembly and Bethesda Parkside. He loved sharing the evidence of God's creation of the world.

He worked as an insurance salesman, and then spent over thirty years as a meat cutter, while also farming a small orchard of plums and walnuts in Woodlake, CA.

Tom is survived by his son Tom Fisk (Jill) of Shell Knob, MO; daughter Dara Ekanger (Talmage) of Aberdeen, SD; son David Fisk (Amanda) of Claremore, OK; brother Jim of southern CA; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
