Thomas Gannon Obituary
Tom was born in Jeffersonville, Indiana to Thomas J. and Ruth Joan Gannon. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from the Richmond Police Department after 23 years of dedicated and exemplary service.
Tom was preceded in death by his father, Thomas. He is survived by his mother, Joan; wife, Laura P. Gannon; son, Thomas Matthew Gannon (Joni) and daughters, Rachel Gannon Lloyd (Brandon) and Emily Gannon Weston; sisters, Linda Donegan (John) and Elizabeth Selden-Bowie (Ken); beloved grandchildren, Reagan, Thomas Aiden, Colin and Mason Gannon; five nieces and a nephew.
Tom was a devoted husband and loving father. Though his physical presence may no longer grace this earth, his spirit lives on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. His legacy of love, kindness, and integrity will continue to inspire and uplift future generations.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Affinity Funeral Services, 2720 Enterprise Parkway, Richmond, VA 23294. A commemoration of life will follow at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.

Tom and I worked on the same platoon right out of the Richmond academy. A lot of good memories Gone to soon. Rest in peace.

Laurie, We are so sorry to hear that Tom has moved on. A ton of great memories and your strength will get you through this. I always felt a bond with Tom for a love a good music and Busch Beer. Hopefully, Jerry will welcome his arrival with an acoustic set. Rest in peace Tom.
