Wadesboro- On Saturday, February 28, 2026, Mr. Thomas Lee Garrison, 75, passed away peacefully at Richmond County Hospice Haven in Rockingham with his loving family at his bedside.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Friday, March 6, 2026, in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. Cynthia Hilliard officiating. Interment will follow in Anson Memorial Park.
The family will greet friends from 5:00PM until 7:00PM, Thursday, March 5, 2026, at the funeral home.
Thomas was born November 24, 1950 in Richmond County, a son of the late Earl Lambert Garrison and Mary Katherine Covington Garrison. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam War. He retired from Addison Moore & Son Inc... Thomas enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
Those who are left to cherish his memory are his wife, Rena Hildreth Garrison of the home; his children, Thomas Garrison, Jr., of Wadesboro, Gary Garrison (Melissia) of Wadesboro, Regina Coward of Rockingham, Amy Davis (Glenn) of Rockingham and Greg Garrison of Wadesboro; his grandchildren, Harvey Garrison, Kalysta Garrison, Alia Garrison, Chaisty Davis, Harley Davis, Katie Winfree, Amber Jenkins, Cameron Jenkins, Courtney Coward and Maci Coward; his great-grandchildren, Hazley Marshall and Oaklyn Marshall; his siblings, Julie Bullard (James) and Wayne Garrison (Teresa) both of Rockingham.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Kenneth Michael Brower, Jr., and brother James Allen Garrison.
