Thomas Gates Obituary
Thomas C. Gates, of Manchester, New Hampshire, passed away March 7, 2026, after a brief illness.
Tom was born May 14, 1940, in Nashua, New Hampshire. He was the son of Charles Giatas and Mary (Sourelas) Giatas and nephew of Katherine Sourelas.
In his twenties, Tom built a radio career as a broadcaster and disc jockey, bringing music and personality to stations across the country.
After returning to New Hampshire, he founded Tom's Enterprises and spent many years buying and selling cars independently.
Tom had a life long passion for NASCAR. He traveled along the East Coast following the racing circuit.
He is survived by his children, Sarah Gates and Charles Gates, and his former wife, Pauline Gates.
