Elizabeth R. Bemis

Elizabeth Regina Bemis, 48, of Somersworth, NH, passed away on March 13, 2026.

Elizabeth was born in Manchester NH on January 14th , 1978 to parents Richard Bemis and Florence Hamlin (Fountain).

Most of her adult life, she was a stay at home mom to her children who she adored. And what a legacy of strong and beautiful children she left behind!

Elizabeth enjoyed the outdoor life of traveling, camping, and visiting a variety of loving relatives nearby, and in Maine and Massachusetts. She especially enjoyed camping trips to the woods of Rockwood, Maine, and spending time at “Grammie Hamlin's” Post Office, operated from her home in Sebec. She shared many of those adventures away with most of her children. Although vacations were a treat, she always knew as a city girl, her love for malls and shopping centers were much more accessible back in Manchester!

In her earlier years she spent much time with her beloved grandmother (Oma). She will be greatly missed by her mother Florence Hamlin and Step Father Scott Hamlin

She will be dearly missed by her friends and family. Her half sister Donna Govostos whom she grew up with, shared a story when they were pre-teens. One day they decided to hop a train that coincidentally passed their home on South Beech St. Their Father Scott got a call not knowing where they were for supper. Donna said “Dad pick us up!" They were in Nashua and a Police Officer gave him directions and he picked them up!

She is survived by her husband Christopher Becker and their 4 children, Angelina, Zayden, Tristan, and newborn baby Esra.

She also leaves behind children Tyler, Brian, Justin, Sebastian, Aiden, Alexander, Dylan; grandchildren Jaxon, Bella Rose, Joshua, Tyler Jr. (TJ) , Levi; mother Florence Hamlin; Step-father Scott Hamlin; Half sisters Donna Govostes and Marie Deniz; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her father Richard Bemis, Grandmother (Oma) Regina Marcoux, and daughter Esme.

There will be a Private Viewing with immediate family

A Committal Service will be held on Thursday, March 19th at 12:00pm at Pine Grove Mausoleum, 765 Brown Ave, Manchester, NH 03103
