THOMAS GIUNTA Obituary
He was born on July 12,1928 in New York City, New York to Carmelo and Petrina (Rugolo) Giunta.
Thomas served in The National Guard and attended NYU for blue printing and drafting.
He was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach. He loved music and loved to dance.
As a young man, he began his home building career as a bricklayer and worked himself up to finally owning his own construction company building homes in Brooklyn and Queens, New York.
He is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis, of 75 years; his daughter, Ramona (John) Vicinanza and his son, Thomas (Michelle) Giunta. His grandchildren: Eric, Michelle, Michael, Corin and Tabitha. Great-grandchildren: Alexis, Dylan, Aria, Aydan, and Ethan.
Visitation will take place on Monday, March 9, 2026 from 4pm to 6pm at Strunk Funeral Home at 916 17th Street, Vero Beach, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Helen Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at 11am.
Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at st.jude.org/memorial
