Dora was born in Ida May, West Virginia later moving to Carolina, W. Virginia. Dora was a career nurse and met the love of her life Frank soon after she graduated Nursing School. They were married and moved around with Frank's job which took them to Baltimore, Maryland and later to the Chicago, Illinois area.
