Thomas Richard Glatzer, 79, of Bellaire passed away on January 11, 2025 at WVU Medicine - Wheeling Hospital.
Born in Bellaire, Ohio on August 22, 1945, a son of the late Herman C. and June McCabe Glatzer.
Tom dedicated many years of his career with Kroger in Bellaire. He performed many jobs throughout his time including back dock receiving. His work ethic and commitment were evident to all who knew him. Beyond his professional endeavors, Thomas found great joy in the game of golf, a passion he pursued avidly throughout his life.
Tom was a member of the Bellaire Presbyterian Church and a United States Navy Veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Herman E. Glatzer and a sister, Madelyn Glatzer.
Left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of 50 years, Paula Jo Sladick Glatzer, children; Kandi Jo (Mike) Glatzer of Bellaire, Brian Thomas (Kelly J.) Glatzer of Bellaire, Amanda Lee (Kelly M.) Glatzer-Roe of Bethesda, Amy Lynn Glatzer of Bellaire, a brother; James (Shelley) Glatzer of Moundsville, three grandsons; Conan J, Caleb and Reed Glatzer, niece; Amber Glatzer, nephews; Tim (Wendy) Glatzer of Wyoming and Chris (Mami) Glatzer of Washington DC as well as numerous cousins.
In accordance with Tom's wishes, there will be no services or visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to CARE Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 204 West Main Street, St. Clairsville Ohio. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Thomas, please visit our floral store.
