Thomas Goddard Obituary
Tom was born on February 24, 1942, in Lansing, Michigan to the late Roscoe Wheelock and Grace Alice (Rose) Goddard
Tom worked for General Motors Truck and Bus for 34 years. He loved to serve the Lord and serve others. He volunteered at The Bridge and Kalamazoo Gospel Mission. He was a member of the Gideons International.
Tom is survived by his wife, Joan (Springer) Goddard, whom he married in 1965. Children: Lori (Kevin) Franklin, Heather (Eric) McAfee, Michael (Kirsten), and Scott (Kelly) Goddard. Grandchildren: Logan (Gina) Wolf, Megan (Ryan) Farquhar, Emily (Dominic) Sayvone, Tristan (Megan) McAfee, Morgan (Jonathan) Barbosa, Jack Goddard, Benjamin Goddard, Abigail Goddard, Ethan Goddard, Ty Goddard and Sara Garcia. Great-Grandchildren: Jaxon Garcia, Mackenzie Garcia, New Baby Girl Wolf and New Baby Sayvone.
Tom is also survived by his brother, William (Althea) Goddard and nephew, Kristofer (Megan) Goddard.
A celebration of life will be held at 12:30 PM, November 4, 2023, at The Bridge Church on 7200 Angling Road in Portage, MI 49024, with Pastor Jeff Wenke officiating.
In leu of flowers, memorials may be gifted to Gideons South Kalamazoo, P.O. Box 1543, Portage, Michigan, 49081 or The Bridge Church, 7200 Angling Rd, Portage, MI 49024.

Tom was a good man!! He put God and family first and was one heck of an engineer. Many good times working with Tom during very good times in GM. Joan, my thoughts and prayers are with you. May God bless him!
