Thomas L Goff, 96, of Burleson, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2025, at the Tuskegee Texas State Veterans Home in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas.


Thomas was born in Zachary, East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana, on September 17, 1929, to Henry Leon and Myrtle Elaine (Compton) Goff. He grew up alongside his siblings Katherine, Henry, and Myrtle.


On April 27, 1947 Thomas married Beulah Sarah Christensen, beginning a devoted marriage and family life that spanned for 44 years. She was the Love of his life. He was a devoted husband a loving father, a tender grandpa, and a giving brother. He loved serving others. Tom was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints throughout his life. He enjoyed serving as Elder's Quorum President, in the Bishopric, and many years as a ward clerk.


Thomas proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 22 years. At the age of 18 he joined the Army Air Corps in1947. He started his training in Lackland Air Force Base and Randolph Field, San Antonio, Texas. In 1948 transferred from the Army Air Corps to the US Air Force. Spent time in: Lowry AFB, Colorado 1948; Francis E Warren AFB, Cheyenne, Wyoming 1948; Chanute Field, Illinois 1948; Randolph Field, Texas 1948; Carswell AFB, Texas 1950; Gunter AFB, Alabama 1950; Mountain Home AFB, Idaho 1952; Wheelus AFB, Tripoli, Libya 1952; Laughlin AFB, Texas 1954; Montgomery, Alabama 1956; Turner AFB, Albany, Georgia 1957; Laon-Couvron Air Base, France 1958; Wiesbaden AFB, Germany 1959; Wilford Hall USAF Hospital, San Antonio, Texas 1963; Clark AFB, Philippines 1964-66; Bergstrom AFB, Austin, Texas 1966-68; His last duty station was with the 75th Supply Squadron at Bergstrom Air Force Base. He retired as a Senior Master Sergeant in 1968 after a distinguished military career. This was our family military life.


Thomas was preceded in death by his beloved wife Beulah; his son Thomas II; his parents Henry and Myrtle; and his siblings Katherine and Henry.


He was survived by his sister, Myrtle, Children: Boyce and wife Gaye, Karen and husband Lee, Linda and husband Stephen, Michael, Cheryl and husband David. He was proud of his children and the life they had made for themselves and their families.


He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren, which were a source of great pride and joy to him. He was always proud of what they had accomplished in life.


Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 390 S.E. John Jones, Burleson, Texas.


Interment will be held on Tuesday 20, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas.
