Thomas Gregory Gonzales

Thomas Gregory "Tommy" Gonzales, 59, of Richmond, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on March 1, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Tommy was born on March 7, 1966, in Richmond, Texas to Alfred Gonzales Jr. and Josephine Gonzalez Gonzales. He was a man of faith, who loved his family and friends deeply and never met a stranger. To know him was to love him, as he was a down-to-earth man with a heart of gold and endless compassion. In his spare time and later in retirement, he loved to watch the Dallas Cowboys, the Houston Astros and any other sports teams when his favorites weren't on.

Thomas is preceded in death by his father, Alfred Gonzales, Jr.; his mother Josephine Gonzales and his step-son, Cory Arizmendez.

Survivors include his wife of 13 & ½ years, Wendy Urbanski Gonzales; children, Avery Brooke Marshall (Cory) and Christian Andrew Martinez Gonzales; siblings, Lisa Cantu (Richard) and Alfred Gonzales III; grandchildren, Caedin Arizmendez, Christian Martinez Gonzales Jr. , Lucas Marshall, Carter Martinez Gonzales, Liam Martinez Gonzales, and Louie Marshall; along with extended family and many, many friends.
