Linda Dyson Cooper, 71, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026, surrounded by love.
She is survived by her son, Eric Holliday and wife Janeth of Richmond, Texas; her daughter, Vicki Estrada and husband Louis of The Woodlands, Texas; and her beloved grandchildren, Taylor and Ryan, who brought her great pride and joy.
She is also survived by her brothers, Cecil Dyson of Singer and Rafil Burgess, Jr. and wife Jerrie of Singer; and her sister, Dorothy Vercher of DeRidder.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil J. Dyson and Rafil and Letha Burgess; her brothers, Jim Burgess and Hardy Dyson; and her sister, Lucy Scott.
Born October 14, 1954, Linda lived a life marked by strength, resilience, and determination. She was strong and wonderfully stubborn — the kind of woman who stood her ground and fiercely protected the people she loved. Her loyalty and spirit were unmistakable.
Linda's love and devotion for her dogs ran deeply. They held a special place in her heart, bringing her comfort and companionship throughout her life.
She will be remembered for her strength, independence, and the quiet but powerful way she loved her family. Her spirit lives on in the family she cherished.
A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of Myers Colonial Funeral Home at 5:00pm on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. Pastor George Glass will officiate the service. Visitation will be held on Tuesday at Myers Colonial Funeral Home from 3:00pm until 5:00pm. Cremation has been entrusted to Myers Colonial Funeral Home following the services.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
