Thomas Bruce Gustin

Thomas Bruce Gustin, 67, of Briarcliff Manor, New York, passed away on February 18, 2026

Known to many as Tom, TB, or TBG, Thomas was born on November 10, 1958, in Massachusetts. He spent much of his life in Briarcliff Manor and Ossining, New York, serving in the volunteer fire and EMS service, contributing his time to both the Briarcliff Manor Fire Department and the Archville Fire Department. Over the years, he held leadership roles, including Chief in both departments, and was a life member of the Briarcliff Manor Fire Department.

Tom was the father of two sons, Thomas J. Gustin and Maxwell R. Gustin, both of Ossining, New York. Throughout his illness, his sons were a steady and devoted presence, supporting and assisting him each step of the way.

He is survived by his sons; his companion, Debra Rothstein; and his siblings: Capt. Bruce A. Gustin III, USN (Ret.); Richard F. Gustin and his wife, Carol; Michael J. Gustin and his wife, Joanna; and Marie "Mollie" Gustin and her husband, Thomas H. Lyon, MD. He also shared a special relationship with his nephew, Fred Gustin, and Fred's family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Faielli and Bruce A. Gustin, Jr., and his brother, George D. Gustin.

A Memorial Service will be held at Faith Lutheran Brethren Church in Briarcliff Manor, New York (10510) on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 10:30 a.m

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Briarcliff Manor Fire Department, 1111 Pleasantville Road, Briarcliff Manor, NY 10510.

Tom will be remembered, and his memory lives on through his sons. He will be missed.
