Thomas Guthrie Obituary
Thomas Lee Guthrie age 69 of Boones Mill passed away peacefully with family by his side on Monday, April 28, 2025 in Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital ICU Trauma Center.
Tom was born on August 13, 1955 a son of the late Stuart and Betty Guthrie. He was also preceded in death by his special daughter, Jamie Leigh; and a sister, Caroline Luckado.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Deborah L. Guthrie; sister, Deborah Sue Guthrie (Lincoln Moses); and a special aunt, Loretta Mills.
Tom was a 1977 graduate of VA Tech with B.S. Degree in Horticulture. He was a long-time farmer along with his wife by his side and took pride in his work. He will be sorely missed by family and friends.
We would like to thank the Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital Emergency Room Staff, Trauma Team for their special care of Tom.
Graveside services will be private at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
The family has requested for no visitation or flowers.
