Thomas “Tom” James Hargy, 74, of Newtown Square, PA, spouse and dear friend, passed away on February 27, 2026, after a brave 2 year struggle with illness.
Born in 1951, in Delaware County, PA, he was the son of the late Frank G. and Jean K. Hargy.
Tom served honorably in the US Coast Guard. After attending college, he worked as an electrician and pneumatics, working with industrial controls.
He will be fondly remembered for his love of hard work, his mountain retreat, golf and Mason Lodge 744.
Thomas was the loving husband of Carolyn Louise (née Homer) Hargy; and dear brother-in-law of Donald L. Homer.
He was predeceased by his siblings; Frank Hargy, Kerry Cox and Johnny Hargy.
A Memorial service will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Community Lodge #744, 2274 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008.
