Thomas Duncan Heistand

Thomas Duncan Heistand, age 79 of Lebanon, passed away on Friday, March 06, 2026 at Baptist Health Hardin. He was born October 07, 1946 in Lebanon to the late, Otha and Pearl (Garrett) Heistand. Thomas was a retired bulldozer operator, and was a proud United States Army and Kentucky National Guard veteran.

Besides his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Marie "Deanie" (Tungate) Heistand; and siblings, Roselin Young, Maude Perkins, Lloyd Heistand, Edgar Heistand, Finus Heistand, Dorothy Graham, and Mary Frances Fair.

Survivors include his 4 daughters, Teresa Boyd, Tracy (Daniel) Lucas, Tina (Randy) Hartley, and Tommi Nicole (Kevin) Shuck; sister, Lena Lootens; grandchildren, Matthew Boyd, Michael Boyd, MJ Boyd, Kaitlyn Shuck, Bella Shuck, Hunter Shuck, Chloe Hartley, Allen Hartley, and Evelyn Lucas; and great-grandchildren, Lukas Boyd, Nevaeh Boyd, Oakley Boyd, and Summer Shuck.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at Bosley Funeral Home with Rev. Stuart Benningfield officiating. Interment will follow in Old Liberty Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at Bosley Funeral Home
