Thomas Lee Heun

Heun, Thomas Lee. Born to Eternal Life on February 22,2026, age 85. Beloved husband of Jean Gatton. Cherished husband of Judith for nearly 58 years, prior to her passing in 2019. Loving father of Ann (Brett) Carlin, Jeff (Courtney Watkins), Bob (Jayne), Tim (Linda Slawson), Rich (Kim) and Mike (Betsy). Proud grandfather of Brittany (Kevin) Thompson, Evan (Nicole) Carlin, Ashley (Anders Dowd), Dylan (Allie), Lily (Nick Salzman), Austin, Hayden (Amanda), Amber, Sarah, Madison, Mackenzie, Hannah, Katie and Drew. Tom was also blessed with four great-grandchildren: Linden Thompson, Rylan and Maella Carlin and Ivy Salzman. Tom is further loved and missed by many other relatives and friends. In addition to his devotion to his family, Tom was employed by Schneider-Vetter Glass and Lurie Glass.

He coached Tosa Baseball for many years. He also enjoyed his role as an umpire in youth baseball and adult softball. He was a tireless supporter of his children and grandchildren and attended their events into the last months of his life. Tom was an avid hunter, enjoyed many days on the golf course and was a devoted Packer and Brewers fan . The family extends their gratitude to Dr. Benjamin Tobin, StoryPoint Senior Center and the Lawlis Family Hospice at St Mary's Ozaukee.

Gathering at ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH, 12130 West Center Street, Wauwatosa on Monday, March 9, 2026 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial to follow.
