Robert K. "Toby" Tobias

Passed away peacefully surrounded by love on February 17, 2026 at the age of 81. Bob was a graduate of Washington High School in Milwaukee, WI. He joined the Naval Reserves as a senior in high school and did his active-duty service after graduation from high school. His ship took part in the Cuban Missel Crisis. Upon his return from active duty, he started an electrical apprenticeship and became a Journeyman Electrician. He recently received his 60-year pin from IBEW Local 494. He met his wife-to-be when he was 16. He was wed on September 25, 1965 and recently celebrated their 60 th wedding anniversary. He enjoyed his time at his cabin on Big Round Lake in Hayward, WI where he fished almost daily with his wife and enjoyed having breakfast at The Hayward Family Restaurant. He loved hunting and fishing with his good friends Tom and Joe. He is survived by his loving wife Judith (nee Luebke), his sons Craig (Tracy) and Steven (Donna), his two grandchildren Parker and Teagan, brother James, sisters Diane Fischer (Robert), Kathleen Stein (Burt) and sister-in-law Susan. He will be further remembered by other relatives, friends and former co-workers. He was preceded in death by his parents Kurt and Lillian (Sween), his sister Christine and brother Donald. He was a kind, gentle and loving man, truly loved by all and will remain forever in our hearts.
