James McCarthy Obituary
December 18, 1970 – February 20, 2026
James "Jimmy" Robert McCarthy, age 55, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away on February 20, 2026. Born and raised in Milwaukee, Jimmy was a man who appreciated the simple pleasures of life: a good game, a winning hand of cards, and the laughter of his family.
An avid sports fan, Jimmy's loyalty to the Brewers and Packers was unmatched. If there was a game on, you knew where to find him. He was also the family's resident trivia expert and a formidable card player. More than the games themselves, Jimmy loved the togetherness they brought, treasuring every moment spent with his friends and his extended family.
Jimmy is survived by his loving mother, Sharon McCarthy; his siblings, Colleen (Mark) Kiel, Suzy McCarthy, Douglas McCarthy, and Kristin McCarthy; as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father, Douglas R. McCarthy.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Krause Funeral Home, 7001 West Brown Deer Road, Milwaukee, WI 53223. Visitation will begin at 11:30 AM, followed by a Memorial Service at 12:30 PM. A burial service will follow immediately at Graceland Cemetery.
