Thomas Alan Hoover

Thomas Alan Hoover of Cape Coral, Florida passed away peacefully on May 28, 2024. Tom was
born on February 9, 1957, in Napoleon, Ohio to Herb and Norma (Babcock) Hoover.
Tom spent much of his working life in the trucking industry, with the last 34 years spent as the
owner/operator of T&H Transportation. Tom was very knowledgeable and passionate about the
industry and enjoyed driving his shiny red Peterbilt.
He is survived by his wife Julie (Fetter), with whom he just celebrated 30 years of marriage on
February 12 of this year. Tom is also survived by his mother, Norma of Bowling Green, Ohio and
his siblings Kay (Bob) Hartman and Carol (Jon) Treece of Bowling Green, Ohio, and Bill
(Charlene) Hoover of Palm Coast, Florida. Tom will also be lovingly missed by his in-laws Connie
(Darrell) Kraner, Pam (Randy) Goare and Deb Fetter of Marion, Ohio and Dick (Peg) Fetter of
Indianapolis, Indiana and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Tom was
preceded in death by his father Herb and his in-laws Dick and Winnie (Daly) Fetter.
A private family "Celebration of Life" will be held in Ohio in lieu of a service.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to the ICU staff on 3North at Gulf Coast Hospital in
Ft Myers for the loving care they showed to both Tom and Julie during his time there.
