Thomas Horne

Thomas H Horne Jr., a longtime resident of Lake Latonka in Mercer PA, passed away February 24, 2026. He was born June 28, 1943, the son of the late Thomas and Mildred (England) Horne. Prior to his retirement Tom worked as a manager for Nationwide Insurance. He enjoyed spending time boating, doing lake activities, and playing pickleball but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren who were the love of his life.

In addition to his parents Thomas was preceded in death by his son Thomas Horne III

Thomas will be deeply missed by his loving wife Betty (Sands) Horne as well as his children Bill (Tom Maidens) Horne of Glenshaw, Liz (Ryan) Jones of Export, and Robert (Adriane) Horne of Denver Colorado. He will also be dearly missed by his niece and nephew. He was a proud grandfather to Samuel (Grace), Ethan, Jackson, Colter, Ruby, Tommie, Isla, and Rocky as well as his great grandchildren Sylvia and Valerie.
