Thomas Loyd Humphreys

Thomas "Loyd" Humphreys, age 78, of Plainview, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2025 at National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs. Loyd was born March 26, 1947 to the late Samuel Orbie Humphreys and Ruby Dixon Humphreys. He was a member of the Plainview Jesus Name Pentecostal Church. Loyd was preceded in death by his parents; siblings Bobby Gene Humphreys, Carl Humphreys, Lewis Humphreys, Leslie Humphreys, Jerry Humphreys, Eddie Glasscock, and his wife Lola Humphreys.

Loyd is survived by his two children Jonathan Humphreys (Joy), and Dean Humphreys; sisters Rachel Humphreys and Minnie Jewel Glasscock; six grandchildren Billy, Keira, Zethan, Aaron, Caleb, Josiah; one great-grandson and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be James Westlake, Herbert Jones, Davy Mullins, Bo Reeves, Freddie Jones and Lou Palmer.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Phillip Young and his church family.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Jesus Name Pentecostal Church in Plainview with Reverend Stacy Lisenby officiating. Burial will be at Hawk Cemetery in Hollis, AR.
