Thomas W. Jurczak

Thomas W. Jurczak – 88, of North Reading and formerly of Adams, MA, died at his home on Friday, March 14, 2025. He was the beloved husband of the late Constance M. (Apalakis) Jurczak.
Born in Adams, MA on May 28,1936. He was the son of the late Albert and Emma (Doyle) Jurczak. Tom was a graduate of Lowell Technical University.
He was a gifted engineer and supervisor for many years. He worked on many of Boston's well-known buildings as well as the Central Artery Project and Copley Place in Boston.
Tom was a U.S. Navy Korean War Veteran from 1953 to 1957, he served aboard the U.S.S. Lake Champlain.
He was an avid skier who skied well into his 70's and taught both of his grandsons to ski along the way. Tom loved to work on his house renovating or building furniture.
He has been a resident of North Reading for the past 58 years and a member of the Trinity Evangelical Church for many years.
Family members include his loving daughter, Melisa Jalbert of North Reading; sons, Mark A. Jurczak of Reading and Mathew J. Jurczak of Methuen; grandsons, Daniel Jurczak of Portland, ME and Mark A. Jurczak, II of Revere; brothers, David Jurczak of Adams, MA, Michael Jurczak of Ketchikan, Alaska and Peter Jurczak of Sitka, Alaska. He was the brother of the late Patricia Kelley, John and Albert Jurczak.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 25 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow Street, North Reading. His funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 26 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Evangelical Church, 105 Haverhill Street, North Reading. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to the charity of one's choice.
