Thomas A. Kaphingst

Thomas A. Kaphingst, age 55, of Shiocton, passed away at Brewster Village, Appleton, on Wednesday, July 27, 2016. Tom was born on April 30, 1961, in Appleton to Barbara (Thorson) Kaphingst and the late Fred Kaphingst. He was employed as an electrician at Faith Technologies for over 20 years. Survivors include his children, Amanda Kaphingst and Alan Kaphingst; his former wife, Judy Kaphingst; his mother, Barbara Kaphingst; his brother, Dave (Karen) Kaphingst; and his sister, Sue (Jim) Hoier. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2016, at IMMANUEL LUTHERAN CHURCH, W7265 School Road, Greenville, with Pastor John Qualmann officiating. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior Street, Appleton, on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and again directly at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
