Thomas Keilman Obituary
May 5, 1937 - Jun 25, 2025
Thomas Joseph Keilman, age 88, of Munster, Ind., passed away on June 25, 2025, after a short illness. He is survived by his loving wife: Joan; brothers: Doug (Linda) and Gerald (Sari); sisters: Kathleen (late Frank) Lamantia and Paulette (Art) Herrman; brothers-in-law: Terence (Patsi) Bridgman and James (late Jane) Bridgman; sister-in-law: Barbara (late Thomas) Bridgman; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: John and Julia; and sister: Ruth Ann.
Tom graduated from Bishop Noll High School in Hammond. He received a bachelor's degree and a masters degree, both in civil engineering, from Northwestern University where he was an Evans Scholar. He was forever grateful to the opportunities afforded him by the Evans Scholars. He also received an associates degree in Computer Science from Purdue University.
Tom was a devoted husband, brother, cousin, and uncle. His memory will long be cherished by those who knew and loved him. After retiring, Tom volunteered much of his time helping his local community.
Visitation with the family will be on Friday July 11, 2025 from 9 to 9:50 a.m., at Burns-Kish Funeral Home, 8415 Calumet Ave. Munster, Ind., with a Mass at 10 a.m., at St. Thomas More Church, 8501 Calumet Ave. Munster, Ind. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Western Golf Association Evans Scholars Foundation (www.wgaesf.com) or the charity of your choice. Please leave condolences at www.burnskish.com.

Carole and I send our deepest condolences to Joan and the family on Tom´s passing.
Tom was unique in his own way. Never loud or pushy, but quiet and strong and sure of himself. His dry sense of humor was always on its mark.
