Thomas John "Tom" Kelly

1943 - 2026

Chanhassen - Tom born in 1943, the oldest of 9, was raised in Faribault, by parents Clarence and Ester Kelly. He served in the U.S. Army in Nancy, France. He was married to Marjorie (Marge) Velishek for 46 wonderful years, raising their daughters, Jennifer and Keisa, in Chanhassen, MN. Tom worked at MN Rubber and served 20 yrs with the Chanhassen Fire Department.

After retiring, They lived in Arkansas for nearly 25 years. Marge passed away in 2017. Tom later shared nearly 9 years of love, laughter and travel with Sharon Dugstad until his death.

Survived by wife, Sharon; children Jennifer (Scott) Shoemaker, Keisa (Mike) Truax, Michelle (Mike) Scott, Cheryl (Jay) Merritt, and Scott (Jinnie) DeMars; grandkids Tj, Stephanie, Megan, Tristin, Chris, Nic, Finn & Lucas and great-grandkids Kason, Asher & Elena.

Preceded in death by wife, Marjorie; his parents; his sister, Barb Kelly.

Funeral services March 12, 2026, Washburn-McReavy Eden Prairie Chapel. Visitation 10 a.m., service 11 a.m., lunch at noon, interment Fort Snelling Cemetery 2 p.m.
