Thomas King Obituary
Thomas E. King, 72, of Akron, passed away on November 9, 2024. He was born on November 19, 1951 the son of the late George and Gladys King. Tom proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a man of faith and was a member of the Salvation Army. Tom retired after 40 years of dedicated service from the Coca Cola Company. He was know as the "Jack of all Trades". Tom enjoyed riding his motorcycle around town. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor, being quick to smile, always helping others, and his love for his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wives Paula and Donna; son Jimmy Tenney; and brother Gary King.
Tom is survived by his brothers Tim King, and Rick (Kris); sister Mimi (Glen) Locker; daughter-in-law Cathy Tenney; grandchildren Carmen, Sophia, Latasha, Dominic, Angelo, and Louis; great-grandchildren Giauna, Jordyn, Draylen, Mary, and Michael; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday, November 23rd, from 10:30am to 11:00am at Salvation Army (190 S. Maple St., Akron) where a Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am.
