I and my employees are going to miss Tom's sale calls. What a joy he was to visit with and the eye rolls kept us laughing much longer then the jokes deserved. I would always manage to stump him with some crazy question but he always found out an answer for me.

Sorry to hear of Tom's passing. He had been our sales rep for a number of years. He and our father become good art friends. Our dad passed away three years ago. We are sure they are together in heaven...painting and sharing stories.

Tom was a friend for over 15 years. I will miss the annual updates on his fishing trips in the BWCA. We shared many a tall tail, some taller than others. His support of my company and staff will be missed.

We enjoyed Tom's visits to our store very much. He was a great presenter and sales person. He never used a high presure approch to selling and he always worked in our best interest, he had a wonderful personality. We will miss him.

I will never forget Tom and his fabulous sense of humor, which he used along with the roll of the eyes with respect to his exquisite musical taste. How fun it was to debrief with him services at St Michael's, in the years that I assisted him (1994-98 I believe). He had such a great love for the organ and loved to be critical of "schlocky" writing....

but more than that, his hymn, anthem and repertoire playing was always so very well done - the organ world has lost an excellent music leader and a generous spirit!

We are shocked and saddened to learn of Tom's passing. We are both hometown classmates of Tom going back to grade school, and our families have known each other for several generations. Tom, Carol and I participated in many forms of music, and Tom was our wedding organist in 1969. We cannot say enough about his skill, his passion and his concern for all parts of society. His humor and friendship was a constant in our lives. Our sympathy goes out to the Klugs; Armin, Marge, Kenny and Jimmy...and of course, to Doug Erickson. It was a joy having Tom so close to us here in the Twin Cities. We loved him dearly.

I first met Tom when I was just getting started with my art supply business over 16 years ago. He was the first "sales rep" to call on me. Most times you might see a sales rep one or two times and then they disappear. Tom didn't do this. Even as his territory grew he still made time to come down to Oshkosh Wi and make his sales call. I will miss his visits and the 'inside gossip" he would share with me about the art materials world

Tom was a vendor and friend of mine for the last eight years. He was one of my favorite people; I always looked forward to a visit from Tom. In October we spent several days together mostly discussing his new 'lease on life' post-surgery. What a tragic loss! He will be dearly missed.
