Thomas Kuitert Obituary
Thomas W. “Tom” “Kites” Kuitert, 71, of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, November 2, 2025, at home with his family by his side. He was born in Fond du Lac on June 8, 1954, to George and MaryAlice (Detweiller) Kuitert. On May 14, 1977, Tom married Gail Stephany in Fond du Lac.
Tom was a salesman for Deising, then Holiday Automotive, retiring in 2023.
Survivors include his wife, Gail; sons, Brian, and Aaron Kuitert; brother, Dan (Deb) Kuitert; sister, Rita Guyette; brothers-in-law, John (Deb) Stephany, and Walter Scheffen; sisters-in-law, Nancy Kuitert, and Janet (Steve) Guelzow; and many nephews, nieces, and other relatives.He was preceded in death by his parents George and Mary Alice Kuitert; two brothers, Jim Kuitert and David Kuitert and sister in law, Alice Scheffen.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Monday, November 10, 2025, at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the visitation.
