Thomas Lawson

Thomas L. Lawson, age 89, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away at his home on Saturday, April 19, 2025. He was born on November 11, 1935, in Rochester, NY, a son of Thomas and Dorothy (Titsworth) Lawson. Thomas was the husband of the late Mary Lawson, with whom he shared 28 years of matrimony before her death on August 7, 2024. Thomas was a veteran of the Marine Corps and worked as a machinist at Ingersol Rand and enjoyed spending time at the VFW, hunting, fishing, and watching sports – especially the Boston Red Sox.
Thomas is survived by his daughter, Barbara (Bob) Zajack of Middletown, CT; sons, Thomas Lawson of Wales, MA, and Robert (Lucy) Lawson of Connecticut; stepsons, Ken (Sue) Stephen of Stony Fork, PA, and Jeff (Angela) Stephen of Boyertown, PA; stepdaughter, Cindy (Jeff) Goodwin of Wellsboro, PA; grandchildren, Andrew Zajack, Dylon Lawson, Amanda Seago; step grandchildren, Nikki Rogers, Joe Stephen, John Stephen, Timi Martin; great grandchildren, Jase, Declan, Kayden, Carmen, Dylon, Xander, Gavin and Bryson. He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Mary and canine companion, Tia; grandson, Ryan Lawson, sister and brother-in-law, Diana and Robert Hussex; brother and sister-in-law, Boyd and Frances Lawson.
Friends and family are invited to call from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M on Friday, April 25, 2025, at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 A.M, with Pastor Ed Siddle officiating.
