Thomas Limperis Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ryan-Parke Funeral Home - Park Ridge on Sep. 18, 2025.
Thomas "Tom" Limperis, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at the age of 81. A resident of Park Ridge for 50 years, Tom built a beautiful life filled with love, generosity, and faith.

Tom was married to the love of his life, Julie, for 55 wonderful years. Together they raised their daughter, Christa Limperis, and he cherished his role as "Papou" to his grandchildren, Ave and Joseph Limperis. He was the devoted brother of Patricia Nassos and the late Robert Limperis.

Tom began his career in the hospitality industry as a beer salesman for the late Angelo Geocaris, and later became the proud owner of Barnaby's Family Inn in Schaumburg, which he ran for 31 years. More than a businessman, Tom was a true friend to everyone he met-always ready with a warm smile, a kind word, or a helping hand. His generous spirit touched countless lives.

He had a passion for golf, enjoyed a fine cigar, and loved nothing more than sharing a great meal with family and friends. Raised in the Greek Orthodox faith, Tom later converted to Catholicism and remained a devout parishioner of Saint Paul of the Cross in Park Ridge. His faith was a guiding light throughout his life.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 23, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Ryan-Parke Funeral Home, 120 S Northwest Hwy, Park Ridge, IL. A Funeral Mass will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Saint Paul of the Cross, 320 S Washington Ave, Park Ridge, IL.

Tom's life was a testament to kindness, friendship, and unwavering love for his family. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy will continue to live on in all who knew him.
